I had my ears pierced, it was a disaster, the gun broke halfway through and one earring is so tight,
A BEAUTY lover has urged everyone to not get their ears pierced at a popular jewellery shop after an appointment went horribly wrong.
When it comes to getting your ears - or anything - pierced, there are quite a few things that can go wrong - and unfortunately, no one knows it better than Maddy Cornwell.
In a clip, which has since taken the internet by storm, racking up close to 470,000 in just four days, the blonde beauty revealed what happened after she had visited Lovisa, a fast fashion jewellery shop.
At first, according to her, things were off to a promising start - but that didn't last for too long, as Maddy claimed that the gun broke whilst the employee was sorting out her second piercing.
Despite all this, she seemed to love the final result, and even took a snap of her new dainty earrings.
''Pretty new additions!!'' read the text alongside the image.

However, things soon took a very sharp turn, as the ear had become so severely infected, Maddy made the decision to take one of them out, before rushing to A&E.
The second piercing, she added, was so tight, it was ''stuck'' to her ear, and even the doctors refused to remove it.
''24h challenge in a&e for me [cowboy emoji],'' Maddy captioned the snap of herself sat in a hospital waiting room.
Fortunately, it appeared that after a while later, the remaining piercing had also been taken out, though there was still some swelling and the ear was red.

''definitely learnt my lesson now, just hope this puts everyone else off having there’s [theirs] done with a gun [sic],'' Maddy continued in the comments.
She also explained that she had had other piercings done there as well with no complications, so she had assumed this time would be fine as well.
Amongst the thousands of viewers, there were many who took it to comments to share their thoughts.
''reminder to always go to piercings studios, i have 18 piercings which were done with piercings needles n they’ve all healed fine,'' said a TikTok user.
Another agreed, saying: ''Most important things: 1. Never get pierced with a gun. 2. Always go to a professional.''

A third also had an unfortunate experience: ''I had the same piercing done at lovisa and it got so badly infected.. cartilage should never be pierced with a gun.''
Fabulous has contacted Lovisa for a comment.
