A SAVVY cook has revealed how a slow cooker might just be the next best countertop gadget, after sharing how she made a low-effort chicken fajita pasta dish that the whole family will love. 

Bethany Dobson shared how the recipe takes just minutes to prepare, and is also freezer friendly, so ideal for busy mums on the go. 

Known online as @bethanyydobson, the foodie regularly shares quick and easy recipes with her 196,300 followers. 

In a new TikTok reel, she said: “Slow cooker fajita chicken pasta. 

“Slow cookers deserve more credit than what they get. You whack all your ingredients in, come back four hours later and it’s done. 

“Whack in your chicken breast, fajita seasoning, and then give it a stir.

“Then your onions, tomatoes, and passata. 

“Pop your lid on and then wait three hours. 

“Once you’ve come back, add some peppers and cream. 

“Pop your pasta in, along with some chicken stock, and let it cook for another 50 minutes.

“Just before you want to serve it, lather it in cheese. Let that melt and bish, bash, bosh you’ve got yourself a fajita chicken pasta bake that took you less than 10 minutes to prepare. 

“It’s only 400 calories per serving so it’s perfect for fat loss, and it tastes unreal.”

Below the video, she added: “Perfect for the family or you could meal prep and put it in the freezer.”

Fans loved her quick and easy recipe, with the video gaining more than 147,000 likes and 2.1 million views.

Although not all were convinced, with some suggesting it would be quicker and easier to make it on the hob.
