ALANA "Honey Boo Boo" Shannon, 17, is a television personality who shot to fame after appearing in the reality series Toddlers & Tiaras.

The star went on to land her own spin-off series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which first premiered in 2012.

Alana Thompson now appears on her mother's reality television show, Mama June: Road to Redemption.

The teenager is currently enrolled in high school and dreams of becoming a neonatal nurse.

She is currently in a relationship with Dralin Carswell, a 21-year-old college student.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Dralin was arrested for a DUI and fleeing police.

According to the Monroe County Reporter, he was also arrested for drugs and "outstanding warrants."

Alana was in the passenger's seat of his car at the time of the incident. She was not arrested.

Dralin had a $25,000 bond and seems to have been released from prison.

In April of 2022, Alana took to her Instagram to share a series of images of her and her boyfriend.

She captioned the post: "park dates with you are the best 🫶🏽!"

The couple is pictured wearing matching black outfits, with the phrase "Have a Nike Day." written across the top.

During August of 2021, Alana appeared on the cover of Teen Vogue.

In their interview with the high schooler, Teen Vogue discussed her breakout role on Toddlers & Tiaras - which brought her career into motion at the age of six - and the success she has endured since.

At the time, she said: "I want to be the best I can be, and I want to make my money, and I also want to make straight A's, so I just try my hardest."

However, the reality star admitted she has struggled to keep up with the lifestyle that fame brought her as she is still considered a "child."

The interview continued with Alana claiming that she has since moved on from her Honey Boo Boo persona, and is fully working on embracing herself.

She added: "I would say that I do like this Alana now, rather than the younger Alana."

Was Honey Boo Boo on The Masked Singer?

Alana and Mama June were eliminated from The Masked Singer in the episode aired on November 3, 2021.

The duo was slammed as the "worst performers" in the show's history.

The Beach Ball made its debut as the final wildcard contestant of the season but received the lowest votes.

Host Nick Cannon revealed they would be sent home.

When asked how it was inside of a giant beach ball, Alana said: "It was definitely very hot and we had a lot of things going on.

"We had to make sure we didn’t roll off the stage."

Meanwhile, Mama June told the judges: "I'm celebrating two years clean.

"This is the first project - outside of our show- that we've (Alana and June) done together, so it feels kind of nice."

In 2019, Mama June abandoned her family for her troubled ex-boyfriend, Geno Doak.

June has four daughters: Anna, Jessica, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, and Alana.
