Massively obese woman sheds a staggering 33 STONE and can finally walk again after life-saving surge

A SEVERELY obese woman who weighed more 50 stone has now lost nearly half her body weight after undergoing life-saving surgery.

Liz Evans, from Freeport, Texas, dropped a staggering 33 stone after she appeared on My 600lb Life.

Bedbound for years, she was 51.5 stone (721lbs) when she first appeared on the show but after having a lymphedema mass on her leg removed and weight-loss surgery she lost 25.2 stone (353lbs) in a year.

In her second year of getting her freedom back, she began using a walker to get around and shed another three stone (42lbs) in four months.

After slimming down she got the green light to remove a second lymphedema mass removed from her left leg, but the pain terrified her and bought back her fear of walking.

But Dr Nowzaradan, who had been working with her from the start warned her that if she didn't keep her eating under control and stopped moving she would end up bedridden again.
