Serious collision between lorry and at least two cars closes M1 and M18 southbound in South Yorkshir
The M1 and M18 have been closed after an air ambulance was called to a serious crash involving a lorry and at least two cars.
All three southbound lanes between junction 31 for Aston and Worksop and junction 33 for Catcliffe in South Yorkshire are closed.

The southbound lanes of the M18 are also closed between junction 1 and junction 32 of the M1.
Emergency services are on the scene and one man has been airlifted to hospital.
The accident is causing long delays and congestion on surrounding routes.
